If approaching from Cornwall:
A38 east from Liskeard. Straight on at Carkeel roundabout in direction of Plymouth/Tamar bridge. Just before entrance to Tunnel, take slip road signed 'Saltash' (don’t go through the tunnel as it will lead you across the Tamar bridge). Up slip road and immediately after traffic lights turn left into Old Ferry Road signposted 'Waterside'. This is a 20mph zone. Follow Old Ferry Road passing under both the road and rail bridges. 'Just Be' Wine Bar on right, Ashtorre Rock on left, on river’s edge beside the slipway. If approaching from Devon: A38 west from Plymouth. Stay in left-hand lane over Tamar Road Bridge. Take left-hand slip road signed to Saltash Town Centre. Turn left and immediately left again down Fore St/ Lower Fore Street. After sharp bend at bottom of hill turn right into Waterside. Pass under both road and rail bridges. 'Just Be' Wine Bar on right, Ashtorre Rock Gallery on left, on river’s edge beside the slipway. If arriving by Train: Saltash station is just five minutes walk from Ashtorre Rock. Saltash is served by regular trains from Cornwall and from Plymouth, and beyond. Saltash lies on the mainline between Penzance and London Paddington with a mix of local and high-speed train services.
